The mother of Dylan Klebold--one of two perpetrators of the Columbine High School massacre--the author has spent the past fifteen years recalling every detail of her child’s life trying to comprehend how he became a mass murderer. He was the son they called “Sunshine Boy” because he was so easy to raise, and he had friends, had been accepted to college, and went to prom a couple of days before the killing spree. After talking with many mental health experts, she has uncovered subtle signs of her son’s failing mental health that went unnoticed. A powerful and haunting book.
