Olga is a successful wedding planner for the wealthy of Manhattan, and very proud of her Puerto Rican roots and her neighborhood in Brooklyn. Her brother Prieto, a Congressman for that neighborhood, loves his family and his barrio (neighborhood), yet is challenged to do right by both when dealing with those with more money and power who do not have the well-being of others at heart. When Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastate Puerto Rico, both Olga and Prieto are forced to confront issues of cultural identity, family loyalties, equity, and prejudice.
