A thoroughly fun read about the trials and travails of being the class mom. (Did you read the author’s previous novel, Class Mom? Or how about the newest in the series, Yoga Pant Nation? This book comes between those two, in series order.) Jenn Dixon brings a saucy irreverence to her role as class mom to her son’s third grade class. When she gets volunteered to head up the 5th grade crossing guard patrol squad, Jenn ends up with more on her plate than expected. Add in two young adult daughters trying to find their way, aging parents, and an entrepreneurial husband’s yoga studio plans, it is definitely not the time for Jenn to give up coffee.
